• Add shortcuts to often used areas (i.e. different searches, My Projects, time entry).

There are blue bars and grey bars in the personal navigation.

The blue bar can be configured in the 'Home>Administrative Tools>Screen Areas>Personal Navigation'. It is a shared area, if you change the report under a blue bar, other people who have the same blue bar will see the changes.

The grey bar can be configured in 'Home>Administrative Tools>Templates>Standard Templates>User>Personal Navigation', the grey bar is user by user, and different users won't see each other's input.

The blue bars can be hidden for certain user groups using access control.
